I started a blog. It will contain informative articles like this one, along with practical tips for womanizing in Japan. All feedback is welcome.

The writing is very good! You seem to know what you're doing as far as technical writing skill goes, and of course I love hearing about life in places less shitty than North America. I'll probably feel guilty at some points for enjoying the unabashed womanising so much, probably because I read feminist counterpart blogs equally often.

This is brilliant:
Social pressure — women looking critically at other women — is the most important reason female skinniness is ascendant in Japan, according to Hisako Watanabe, a child psychiatrist and assistant professor of pediatrics at the Keio University School of Medicine in Tokyo. “Japanese women are outstandingly tense and critical of each other,” said Watanabe, who has spent 34 years treating women with eating disorders. “There is a pervasive habit among women to monitor each other with a serious sharp eye to see what kind of slimness they have.”

Women in Japan have a fat shaming culture, and are not fat.
Women in America have a fat acceptance culture, and are fat.
Whatever "it" is, you will get the least good version of it that you are willing to tolerate. I apply this rule strictly in my relationships and am much happier for it.

Yumiko knows that letting herself go could ostracize herself from the group.
In western societies we have a wild fire of acceptance maintained by hot bitches and fat bitches.
Fat bitches came about with highly encouraged portion increases and people led to prioritize happy impulses over all other rational thought and social cues.
Now, hot bitches, who still prioritize and advocate HappyThoughts worked out (sub-consciously??) that it's worth ignoring the hunger HappyThoughts because it is rewarded later with the higher value attention. It's also not detrimental to accept fatter bitches around which make themselves appear better by comparison and allows them to hamster HappyThoughts about equality should they ever get fat - which most do.

From living in Japan almost every dish you buy will have the calories on it, most Japanese restaurants whether they are a dive, cafeteria or lavish restaurant will have pictures or plastic models of the dish and its always clear what they contain and again the calorific values. Also Japanese junk food isn't all that terrible, things like jellies are made from seaweed derivatives, which contain almost no nutritional values.
