I don't see why people have such a hard time understanding the way attraction, love, and relationships work in principle. It's simple economics. Let's say that you are a guy and you have a goal, getting laid, so now you optimize your actions to get to that goal. This exact thought process is what companies use to expand into new markets.

You are now an organization. You'll need a product (you), marketing (your image), finances (your financial stability), R&D (learning), operations (your activities), public relations (the people you have in your life), and executive strategy (your overall plan), to name a few.

And finally, you'll need management (your brain), to create and oversee the execution of the overall strategy and subsequent departments that will manipulate the variables of the product and organization to achieve the most effective results as efficiently as possible.

Every once in a while, the board of directors has to gather independent of management to examine and ensure that management is utilizing the best overall strategy possible to achieve the organizational goal (you have to use metacognition to see whether or not your thinking is really the best thinking that you can do, because everything that you do in the future is dependent on the way you think)

The girl wants the product and the investment. So she will want the product to be of the highest quality with the largest set of features while also wanting the financial stability and management to be top-notch (keep in mind that different girls are different investors and may have different preferences).

The problem a simple one that is the basis for economics as a whole, scarcity. There simply isn't enough to go around.
