Let's be honest, the answer is not as simple as that. Yes, it could be one of the factors on why he did it but it goes beyond it being just cuz of a break up.

Lots of people end it all, it may well have been 'Oneitus' that finished him off but it wasn't the complete story. Murder suicide cannot be just slapped on the table as "oneitus" it's intellectually crass.
He was mentally ill, depressed, off work, the airline failed the passengers. He failed himself, society failed all of us.

might have been a factor, but a rational human doesn't do this. more like 150 people died because a PSYCHOPATH had oneitis.

Definitely a psychopath but I would probably say he's more of a sociopath. Everyone who knows him personally is in complete shock and awe, he knew how to maneuver around socially without inciting any kind of suspicion on his character and mannerisms until...now.

Hasty application to a particular mindset or ideology of every unfolding world event is a risky practice. It might feel good to those of us within the niche, but to new people and out-group readers, it (often correctly) appears buffoonish. Particularly so when you've already seen the same story spun in the obvious flavor of several mainstream news sites, forums, blogs, etc eight different ways around the web that day.
TL;DR Too soon.

I believe his medication/depression played a bigger role but yes. I agree with you.

An infinitesimal amount of things through that mans life led him to be there at that moment and to have the impulse to just end shit in a crazy fucking way..
But you're right.. Maybe if he was spinning a few plates those people would be still alive.. This is a moral lesson for the red pill.
Spinning plates saves lives..

A motherfucking asshole killed 150 people.

That seems like an awfully simplistic explanation—let's not forget the fact that the pilot was mentally ill and hiding his condition from the airline.
I don't believe oneitis killed this man.
Most of you have had oneitis and have never done anything close to this scale of bewildering insanity.
He had a terrible mindset and an awful way of handling his emotions which deemed him unstable. I also think his girlfriend broke up with him for those very same reasons, he needed psychological help.
"Oneitis" is a very juvenile way of looking at something that deserves much more of a logical perspective.
