Here and on AskTRP there are soooooooo many guys wanting to know how to up their game, improve their approach, and get over their fears.

The bestest, fastest way to do this is to toss yourself into the volcano of public speaking. If you are in college, then most likely there is a debate team and public speaking is a side deal. If you are a bit older then there is Toastmasters and various other organizations that want to develop public speaking skills.

(Apparently, many high schools in the USA have "forensics" team, that basically do the same thing but with a twist.)

I was in CUSID, the Canadian league. The way public speaking competitions worked was that your name was called and as you walked up to the microphone you were given a "resolution" (basically a topic, but loosely so) and you had maybe 10 seconds to compose your thoughts to speak for 5 or 10 minutes on it.

It was fucking brutal the first few times, but when you get used to it then chatting up anyone - man, woman or child - comes so easy.

(PS: For all you college guys, debaters have a bad rep for being nerdy but they are big party animals and the girls tend to be slutty. . .or at least intelligent.)
