I've been working out from 7 days a week, to 5 days a week to 2-3 times a week for over two years now. Mostly its been 2-3 which as you know isn't really enough but I've never gone less than that so my physique has improved enough that I get lots compliments without having a fight club type body, which I'm looking to improve.

Starting this year I got extra serious about my eating habits because after an intense finals season I gained like 30 pounds. Who knew snicker bars were that fattening... anyway, good thing is that I just lost the 30 pounds, putting me on 163 pounds at 6'1 height.

I've noticed a big reduction of my stomach, and my pants are fitting well once more. I still have some localized fat in my gut and the sides. I am still losing weight keeping with the eating plan that my nutritionist gave me.

I feel that my workout routine focuses mostly on my shoulders, arms and chest, I do some sit-ups but nothing radical. I've also started doing an hour of a fit playlist on beat saber for cardio during the quarantine but after a friend said I was wasting my time and that a boxing VR game or whatever would be better I've kind of stopped that. But I'm starting to think it was pretty stupid to stop and am looking to retake that.

ANYWAY, TLDR: Would I be able to lose localized fat ie. my gut with healthy eating alone?
