There was another post here today on loneliness. It's a long read, but just from your post above I can imagine what you are aiming at. I'm gonna read it later and I'm curious what other Redpillers have to say, especially the older ones. In my opinion the loneliness many men are afraid of to experience at an advanced age is just not real. It's a myth.

Not really - you only get that way if you do not have any hobbies. If you're working and have interests outside of work (ballroom dancing, theater, choir, rock climbing, ceramics, b/w photography) there's no reason for you to ever be lonely.

Start developing interests outside of work/exercise/women, and you'll find that as you get better, you'll start having orbiters.

Seems to me that you begin with MGTOW which builds your "Alpha Core" which then makes loneliness disappear. (one cannot know thy self and be lonely) So this rules out option #1.

Assuming one is reading Red Pill you are probably unplugged or seeking to be unplugged. So this eliminates option #3.

It's option #2 being the Patriarch which all men desire naturally. Marriage 2.0 has made such unions very, very, difficult to sustain, so while it's possible it's a scary proposition. Finding a Red Pill Woman increases your chances of success, so if you have your shit together and find a woman with her shit together then a LTR seems like the best course of action. Simply explain that you would love to get married once the laws get fixed.

...it might be a long wait.

For Canadians you can't even do a LTR because the laws declare you married automatically, so you are screwed.

Agree.. Everyone on here thinks the point is to be bitter and bang random chicks.. It's about just being a man and standing your ground.. I ended up with my "main chick" after 30, she tried a few power plays early on,which were all shut down because I simply made it clear what I would put up with and made it clear I was willing to walk away if I saw the need..

I'd honestly prefer to be alone than committed to a woman. I spend most of my time alone and prefer it. I make my own rules and do as I please. I see nothing of value to gain from a relationship. Sex? I can get that with no strings attached? Companionship? Get an animal. If I hit the "male wall", I'll just travel the world. Hey buddy, I like your work. You come from a good place and I think your experience is truly valuable, and this article would have held weight about 20 years ago...

However, this day and age, circumstances are entirely different. Marriage rates are falling sharply, whether men are opting out or not is another topic, but men my age are more likely to remain single into late age, if not forever thanks to Feminism, divorce laws and the corruption of women in the west. With draconian divorce laws, many grown men, whether committed to marriage/LTRs or not, will end up alone, along with being penniless now as well, irregardless of their level of monigamous commitment. The economy is in a slump, unemployment or underemployment is almost the new norm, job advancement opportunities even rarer. This makes getting locked into a mortgage and that responsible, grown adult stuff almost impossible for my generation to attain, and the rate which mortgages are being taken out has also fallen sharply. No one can afford anymore debt, which also leads to the student loan crisis, further hampering any sort of economic leap forward into maturity and responsibility. Combine these, amongst other socioeconomic issues, with the media and the popularization of man-childism, feminism, emasculinzation and sex culture, and you have an entire generation who cannot and will grow up.

I agree with you that this is not a good thing, I myself wish I grew up in the Fifties, but circumstances will play out differently in this generation because thats how far off the deep end weve gone recently. This will lead to the collapse of the country and society sooner rather than later in my opinion, but people will no longer be isolated and shunned for it as we continue to slide deeper and deeper down the shitter. My generation and perhaps thereafter will continue to celebrate immaturity, feminism and man-child behavior until the day the collapse hits us like a sack of bricks.

I don't know about that. I've had years of LTRs and monogamy. I am done with that type of lifestyle. I prefer to run life on my own terms now, social expectations be damned.

I don't mind exploring uncharted territory. The threat of loneliness or creepiness is not threatening to me.

Have to disagree man - this isnt the 50's anymore. Society is far more accepting of single men than in the past, and I'm still spinning plates in my mid to late 30's.

A confident and established man will have no need to be locked down. If you want kids, knock a girl up - and just pay her child support.

I would argue that, at a certain point, people start internally judging you negatively for not being monogamous. It's expected societally, and furthermore, a natural alpha (for lack of a better term) would see great benefit in not having to expend effort working on spinning plates in order to facilitate his growth as a man.

Plates serve to give you sex on command. But there necessitates a simulacrum of effort involved in maintaining plates. A monogamous man picks his woman of choice, and sex is as dispensable as the kitchen faucet. Sure, you could have your harem of women, but you get far more respect for being a man who has a single woman in his life, of whom it's expected he wants to mother his children. Not that you have to breed a genetic legacy, but that's what the outsider sees in a monogamous man. And that's commendable; that a strong, powerful man wants to better the world through breeding offspring who share his traits.
