I consider myself an honorable man. I've taken the whole self-improvement thing very seriously, and one of the aspects of that was improving my word. Now, when I give my word, I do my damnedest to keep it.

I've noticed that women don't give a shit about honor. They will give me shit if I get caught breaking my word, but I don't get any love or respect for keeping it. And they will break their word all fucking day, and then hamster it away no big deal.

So here's my question:

All of this makes me think, "Fuckit, I should just sink to their level. My new motto is, 'Whatever I can get away with!'"

But a part of me still thinks that Honor is Honor, regardless of who I'm interacting with.

I'd love to get TRP's take on this.

Edit: Clarification: I will always be honorable with other men. I'm asking whether or not it's worth extending that to women.
