Reading the current thread to remind us about the difference between altruistic love in men and women rellay struck a nerve in me and I had kind of an epiphany.

Not only are we disposable today, but we have always been and will always be.

I believe we all agree on the fact that procreating is the ultimate goal of life and the endurance of the species is what fuels this desire from deep within.

A single male is perfecty capable of sperming a really big group of females while a female is only capable of carrying one child (multiples let aside) at a time. It would take her also some time to recover from giving birth and being fertile again.

Assuring that this precious offspring will be at least capable of surviving on it's own is inavitable to assure successful procreation. Since the female is the nurturing part it is also inevitable to assure her survival.

If a single female is lost a group is much more severly damaged than if a male is lost. The survival of the group, and ultimately of the species, is much more at play if the female is gone, than if the male is.

Therefore men jumping in to catch a bullet, throwing themselves on grenades and having a an overall bigger trait for altruistic love makes much more sense.

This would by the way explain pedestalizing bitches to me. Would make total sense, except for being outdated today.

Call me out on my bro-science please!
