For whatever reason, the gender pay gap argument keeps coming up in online discussions.

I think it's important to bring up the lesbian pay gap data point every time. Lesbians make more than straight women and no one knows why. If it's the case that women are discriminated against in the workplace and so make less money than men, why should lesbian women, who surely are discriminated against even moreso than straight women, have figured out a way to make more money than straight women? It makes absolutely no sense and conveniently, anyone who talks about the pay gap being the result of "the patriarchy" never brings this up.

I wanted to post this information for anyone who didn't know, maybe for discussion, and so that you now have information that you can bring up whenever anyone starts talking about the gender pay gap.
