TRP Ruins Everything: University Motivational Speeches

My god, that was some terrible stuff. BP me would have been bored to tears, but thanks to this sub, I couldn't stop laughing or cringing the whole time.

Some highlights:

A special reminder to "All the men out there" that rape is wrong. Enumeration of the school's zero-tolerance policy, followed by a reminder that women are special snowflakes who must always be made to feel respected and empowered.

It was funny to watch all the freshman guys move away from the nearest (usually 2-4 out of 10) girl. But most of these guys are Beta/Gamma anyway; no need to push them further down the spectrum.

The University laundry list, including "all non-white cultures are valuable and must be respected above the nasty whiteness that fills this auditorium", "being an unpaid lackey in a psychology lab is as good as or better than an internship in engineering", and "please take a degree that costs $80,000+ without considering whether or not it will matter in the workforce".

Cappy Cap deliver us from the idea that you shouldn't expect payment for services rendered.

Speeches to the effect that private enterprise is neutral-to evil, as opposed to the glory that is VOLUNTEERISM!

"All hail the great American state. My life means nothing. My honor means nothing. I give all I am and all I can become for the glory of the state."

And of course, a guy who took more than six years to graduate with an undergraduate poli-sci degree delivers the speech about how to succeed in the big, bad real world.

Seriously, though, thank you guys for making this long and plodding affair hilarious.

There are a few books that talk like this:

-1984

-Brave New World

-Animal Farm

-Walden 2

-Fahrenheit 451

War is peace. Freedom is slavery. We have always been at war with Southeast Asia.

Volunteer your time, don't work for a living. If you want a woman to be sexually attracted make them feel like a special snowflake and do everything for them.

Same old same old.

Always been at war with SE Asia?

[–]Endorsed ContributorBluepillProfessor12 points13 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Ha! Got a Freudian slip right there! We really were at war in SE Asia.

"Thanks, it is Eastasia.

[–]1xwm0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I was going to say, I don't remember that one.

Also don't forget "Ignorance is strength"

[–]DjBottleservice1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Off topic but fuck it.. Whenever I see Fahrenheit 451 all I think of is my English teacher (boss as fuck) passing a test to my buddy which he missed. While walking by he nonchalantly throws down the test on his desk and says "what's the temperature at which paper burns bitch?"

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Off topic but I have fond memories of Ray Bradbury books. My english teacher was a huge bitch but she at least got me into some good authors.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I should point out for anyone wanting to chase down the reference that it is from Nineteen Eighty Four, by Orwell. Not Bradbury. It refers to a never-ending, shifting war between super states, the changing tides always glossed over by propoganda.

EDIT: Sorry, see now you wrote "off topic but..."

Adding a few more books to the reading list ...

  1. Good book. Read it this summer.

"War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is Strength."

I can't think of worse advice to give a bunch of college students. It's like he's on the left side of a Goofus and Gallant comic.

When dealing with women please be sure to surrender your balls immediately so they know you are not a possible candidate for reproduction. Also be sure to put a ring on one eventually when asked and work a boring 9-5 job to pay of your student loans, mortgage and the crap your wife buys. When cheated on (I mean get real for a second, she aint fucking you and she needs to get sex somewhere) take full responsibility and hand over half of whatever the fuck you did manage to save up. Good luck with your midlife crisis you fat fuck!

Yours sincerely,

The State

Oh wait, Rape is wrong? Shit, I should have listened to that speech.

[–]1xwm3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

No, all men should be forcibly restrained and made to listen to that speech on repeat for the period of no less than one straight year. Excepting sleep of course, we aren't inhumane like male rapists after all.

male rapists

Implying there's any other kind of male. /s

[–]Rougepellet5 points6 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I found the way people bitched about rape very stupid. Might as well be saying "attention to all Muslims that terrorism is wrong". It's retarded. Telling a psychopath that killing people is wrong won't make him stop. Telling a rapist that rape is wrong won't make him go "oh shit, you right. My bad" Silly feminists. Tricks are for kids.

[–]TRP VanguardCyralea1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

It's simply female hypo-agency applied on a cultural level.

"I don't want to be responsible for my own safety, make someone else do it for me"

[–]IntellingetUsername5 points6 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

The most disturbing part of this post is the fact that it costs close to a six figure sum just to get a ticket to enter the workforce.

[–]AnAdventureCore1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

... it costs close to a six figure sum just to get a ticket to enter the workforce.

The lower-middle class workforce, ya.

[–]1xwm2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Beats the hell out of minimum wage jobs that you can only get at part time because they don't want to be forced to give you benefits (read: health insurance).

Not everyone can be an entrepreneur.

[–]LibertarianLibertine2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

I have the feeling you're not using those quotation signs properly.

please take a degree that costs $80,000+ without considering whether or not it will matter in the workforce

Unless he really said exactly that, of course.

[–]1xwm1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

He was just using it to separate the ideas in the speech from his thoughts to make it easier on the reader. Cut him some slack.

[–]TRiPdonGame[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Well noted. The difference between the following:

  • text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text

text text text text text text text text text text text text text

  • text text text text text text text text text text text text text text

and this:

text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text

text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text

text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text

Which looks like points with commentary and which looks like a multi-paragraph bullet?

I value clarity of communication over adherence to convention.

That's the upside of having the redpill in your body and mind. Everything is either comedy or tragedy or both, and you get to choose how you want to respond to the bullshit. I have never fallen off the chair laughing, as I do now when I read the newspaper. It's amazing what kind of shit get printed, and swallowed by the masses.

Feel the Red surge through you. One of us. One of us.

TRP Ruins Everything

This should be a meme.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
