Weddings tend to bring out the worst in women.

For the unmarried ones, it's a reminder that they still haven't found a man to legally commit to them and take care of them. For women who are post-wall, this is especially bitter, as they know that the young, pretty girl walking down the aisle secured a man with a higher SMV than they could probably get for themselves at this point in their lives.

For the married ones, it creates jealousy. Sometimes it's in the form of "she got a better man than I did." Other times it's in the form of "everyone is paying attention to her and not me". And it's not just the bride getting paid attention; it's all the guys who look better than her husband who are paying attention to all the hot girls at the wedding and not to her. Every woman wants all that attention again. Which tends to be why there are so many drunk women who cheat at weddings. It's the perfect mix of them missing the attention they used to get, available men to fuck them, and the ability to disappear for awhile and not really be missed.

All of these derive from the fact that women see marriage as solely and purely a gain. No consideration of the vows - ie. The publicly stated promises that you make to each other. They are really supposed to be the heart of the ceremony. But nah nah dresses and expensive party yey!

  • the "grave men" (donno the proper phrase) placed to coffin into the grave a minute ago
  • a phone rings, with the good old nokia tone
  • a woman between 40 and 50 furiously digging through her purse
  • the phone ringed like 4 or 5 times by now
  • the priest is still doing his thing
  • finally she found the phone and TAKES THE CALL
  • "Hi,... i see, you know it's not the right time; Why? You know i'm at a funeral right now"

  • everyone is in shock

I was working security at a reasonably high end wedding venue fairly recently, and saw this first hand.

Early 30s, in decent shape but age was clearly starting to take its inevitable toll. Not ugly by any stretch, but not high end. A decent 7. Clearly a member of the brides inner circle, bridesmaid.

She comes out for a smoke, makes a bee line direct for me. After about 30 seconds of smalltalk she's onto how she never found the right man, never married, 3 kids. The pain in her face at the brides happiness was palpable. This is a woman ive never met before in my entire life and shes giving me the whole biography.

Knew pretty much instantly what she was after. It wasnt subtle the way she shoehorned the fact that the kids weren't with her. But to be honest while i have fucked much worse i wasnt in the mood.

So i beta'd her out by telling her how amazing my wedding was and how amazingly happily married i am (lol)

That killed it pretty effectively

Weddings piss me off for many reasons. One of them is seeing people getting remarried and professing that bullshit "until death do we part" vow. Like how much of a charade are you going to make this into? You don't get to say that again. You left that other poor sap because you weren't haaappppy™ and probably took half his shit with you.

You'll see it everywhere and what's worse is you'll see it with guys who could be 2+ points higher SMV than you are.

Life is odd. People are conditioned from a young age and the conditioning varies by gender.

I've been to many weddings and in at least 1 in 4 I'll openly tell some nagger to shut her piehole so the rest of us can have fun. On a few occasions I've asked a dude (right in front of his nagger) why he doesn't nuke her and come meet some fine women with me at the wedding next door.

Oh thats not entirely true.

There are some very easy wins to be scored at weddings.

Go stag, maximise your SMV, you have an excuse to wear the finest suit you own and turn up at DEFCON1, and you WILL find a lonely little honey depressed its not her day.

And in my experience the closer to the bridal party they are, the sluttier they will be.

You can swing significantly above your usual range at a wedding because of the synergistic effects of holiday sluttiness, jealousy and opportunity.

Saying you shouldnt go to weddings because they are for women to get laid is like saying we should all go MGTOW because we don't want to give them the satisfaction of a good fucking.

Personally i don't see the sense in that.
