When sneaking up on rabbits, you can't look directly at them. Orient yourself so that your body and attention are focused on something not near them. Walk as softly as possible, heel-blade-ball-toe style silent. Do nothing quickly. Make no sudden moves. Take your time. The rabbit see's you. The rabbit hears you. Its senses are attuned for exactly that. It knows you are there, and it is terrified of you.
Paying attention to the rabbit, whether with prolonged eye contact, orienting your body towards it in a threatening way (Leaning forward) or any thing else will invariably cause it to flee.
The best way to stalk a rabbit is to ignore the rabbit and stalk the tree thirty feet to its right.

No, its simply lessons learned from growing up in the rural south.
I once got close enough to touch a bunny. It took a good 20 minutes of studiously NOT paying attention to what I was paying complete attention to. It was pretty magical.
It is also something that has come back to me in various forms over the years. People don't give you what you want. What you want has value that they can use to trade with. People will happily and cheaply give you what you don't give a shit about though.
A lesson that was hammered into my head on online games of all places actually. Trade for something eagerly and the price is sky high, trade for something with an attitude of "Its shit, you're shit, and I'm doing you a favor by taking it off your hands" even if its the same thing, and the price is cut into 8ths.

i grew up in the same region. interacting with non domesticated animals is a great learning experience.
i meant to imply that your principle of intentionally downplaying your interest is a classic manipulation technique that, as you have noticed, works in many facets of life.

You can't call this shit science, it reads like the ramblings of a crazy person.
There might be a good point somewhere in there but it's lost amongst the bad science, pseudointellectualism, and random rants about commies.
This kind of stuff won't attract anybody but idiots to RP.

good read. ever since i discovered the R vs K type dynamic I have been able to quickly get a read on people.
without fail, any progressive minded people or collectivists i meet have a profound misunderstanding of economics, history, and ultimately reality.
the communist/socialist form of governing only works in groups of a couple hundred or less. beyond that and the social ties which bond the group into a cohesive unit that wants to provide for its own are lost. once the motivation to care for its less productive members is nothing but a law, the dynamic shifts from compassion to slavery.
this is why the family unit is so important. and why the dismantling of the strong family at the hands of family courts is causing productive males to disengage from the economy.
look at how the black community has suffered in america. 75% of the kids are born to unwed parents. families are fractured before they even start. with enough government support to survive, they dont see a reason to engage and build their civilization. they just wallow in hedonism and jungle dynamics of exaggerated masculine posturing and gang/tribal conflict to establish hierarchies. family is important for civilization to work well.
this is the fate of the west if things continue on this path. i predict a massive rejection of feminism and marxism over the next decade.

LOL @ that guy in the comments section who repeatedly insists he "promised the judge he would kill him" when the judge ordered him to pay child support.
RoK is smart in that it knows how to get shock-clicks, but it also dredges up a lot of morons who think they are "RP" when in reality they are just internet tough guys.
