TLDR: "Famous" Canadian radio host gets accused of rape/abuse over a decade after the fact by multiple women. Gets fired. At trial, witness statements fall apart.

So for those of you that don't know, in Canada, a radio host named Jian Ghomeshi seemed to like rough sex with lots of women. GASP! I know right?!?! The cad!

Seems that over a decade after the fact, some "brave survivors" have come forward to ruin this mans reputation and try to have him "pay for his crimes"... er.. rather, have him "pay for their bad choices".

The National Post article here:

http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/how-sexual-assault-survivors-respond-to-trauma-and-why-the-ghomeshi-evidence-isnt-surprising

Is so full of hamster I had to post it here. Some choice quotes from the feminists.

“We numb it out, or we pretend it didn’t happen, or we say nothing about it because we fear we won’t be believed,” she said. “Sometimes it’s hard for us to believe that happened. A lot of times we want it to go away, we want to normalize it.”

“Women respond to sexualized violence differently, and have the right to choose their own path to healing and justice.”

And my favorite:

“We shouldn’t keep focusing on individual women and what they did or didn’t do. They are not responsible for the sexualized violence committed against them,”

Yes... don't focus on things like "consent" and "not going to the police", and "lying on the witness stand".

Lesson learned: Women will feel badly decades after you've had sex with them because of whatever they happen to be smoking that day. Jian saved himself a world of hurt in court by keeping letters/ pictures/ etc of the women with him AFTER he "assaulted" them. HE KEPT THAT SHIT FOR OVER A DECADE!
