Intro

I first learned this topic from GLL, and it was really a pretty big paradigm shift for me. It made me realize why I'm the weirdo that I am and why people act the way they do. We all know this stuff, but it could change the way you look at yourself and those around you.

Body

We live in a pretty comfortable world today. Even the guy working a dead end job living in a crappy environment has better access to food and medical care than a king did just a 100 years ago. He also has more access to entertainment with just a click.

We're humans, and we have some very base desires that drive our actions. We crave food, when we're hungry, and we crave sex from the opposite sex. However, these most base desires are met to this basic standard that you're able to comfortably continue without making real change. The discomfort of really changing is much more unpleasant than you're currently experiencing.

SEX

Having sex with a woman you're genuinely attracted to and like is pretty great experience, but it takes effort. You have to look good to attract her, you need to not be socially retarded to talk to her, you have to be somewhat interesting to keep her interested in you, and all that fun stuff. Doing all that is uncomfortable. It's doable, but uncomfortable. It's way more comfy cozy to stay at home with a nice hot cocoa next to your laptop. You're favorite pornstar did some new scenes with some hung guy that isn't you. OH and it's anal. You could sit at home and masturbate, and still get that nut out. Why should you change. You're comfortable and have this basic stimulus to just barely satiate your base need. You don't need the real thing.

Who needs to feel that amazing rush of hormones you get when you sleep with a real attractive girl that you actually like? Who needs to feel how warm she feels next to you and that deep sense of accomplishment that has you on cloud 9 for the next few days? You got porn.

If you do want to change then quit watching porn and really limit or cut out the masturbation. Having a very full sack is very uncomfortable. Having a full sack is more uncomfortable then hitting on sexy girls to get laid. It is for me at least.

Nutrition

Eating right isn't rocket science. Vegetables are good. Cooking homemade meals are good. Processed foods are mostly garbage. You don't need to be a nutritionist to guess which will be better for you. Broccoli or Oreos? It's so easy to pick the Oreos though, or whatever junk satisfies your cravings. Like the Porn industry, the food industry knows what you like. They have very talented scientists that can develop tiny salt micro-crystals so there product has a real explosion of flavor in your mouth. They had mathematicians, calculate the bliss point of sugar in their product based off brain scans that were measuring how much our pleasure centers were lighting up when we ate the product. They processed and played with the fat content to give you that great mouth feel and make all the ingredients come together, and give your product that distinct crunch, or smoothness, or moist feel that you've come to love. Not only that, it's so convenient! You're busy watching netflix and beating your meat like it owes you money.

A great breakfast would be some eggs and bacon with a side of fresh vegetable juice with a little added fruit for sweetness. That takes time. You have to go grocery shopping for the stuff. You have to actually cook it. Now you have to wash the dishes. That's uncomfortable. You could be comfy cozy with a toaster struedel, and you're honey frosted glazed corn product flakes with extra marshmallows cereal. The box says it's fortified with vitamins and minerals so it's totally healthy. You're health and nutrition is in your hands. It's uncomfortable, but it isn't impossible.

If you want to change, then make life easier on yourself. Get rid of all the junk food and tempations. Buy a vita-mix or something and just drink you're vegetables. Give yourself no other choice than to cook your own food. Do it all on one day with an epic meal prep. Who cares, just do it.

Fitness

Working out has been beaten to death. You don't need me to say anything. It's uncomfortable, but go do it for your own health at least. Even if you're an "intellectual" and you're too smart to be a meat head. Guess what? Lifting weights is good for your lymphatic system and cardio vascular system as well, and what's good for that is good for your brain. Fun fact. People who exercise are less likely to develop dementia.

If you want to change then take off your shirt and look yourself in the mirror. Ask yourself honestly. Is this the body that a sexy girl would want on top of her. You know the answer and you know what to do

Style

There's an entire subreddit dedicated to fashion advice. It's a click away. I know those sweat pants and old t-shirt are super comfy, and it totally gives off that DGAF attitude that you're going for, but it's not working. It's uncomfortable learning these basic fashion rules and spending money on things you don't consider "necessary", but if you want to look like X, you should dress like X. Look the part.

If you want to change it's similar to before. Look at yourself in the mirror. Ask yourself. Do I look like a guy that gets laid or does it look like I'm wearing 6 year old clothes my mom had bought for me on sale at Walmart.

Conclusion

I don't want this to get carried away, but the reason most people aren't being the best they can be isn't a lack of opportunity, it's not their zodiac sign, it's not whatever excuse, it's because they're too comfortable. I was never a comfortable person. You shouldn't let yourself get comfortable, that's when life starts getting uncomfortable.
