Today I dumped my height requirement for men, and I feel great

Why did I have one to begin with? Bc I'm 5'11. I never understood when my 5'3 friend needed a man over 6' tall, I don't. For me? I liked feeling smaller in his arms. I think many men won't date women taller than them. It seemed to make sense to find someone who was at least 5'10, right?

What changed? I'm really sick of the way dating goes. The cliches are spot on. A woman gets flooded with matches. She does her best to choose the guys she thinks are worth pursuing. And then as they progress she figures out they're only into themselves and sexual gratification from a woman. Height is irrelevant when you can't connect in any meaningful way.

Today I flipped through my matches, and I didn't care if he was 5'8. So what? Attractive is attractive at any size. If a guy has literally everything I actually want in a man, am I really going to care about being taller? Seriously, I'll put up with stupid comments people will make about me wearing heels or being the big spoon. What matters is how I feel with someone.

Then I came across a man who was 5'4. Handsome, stable, and who preferred making a new friend over a ONS. I hope we match and see what we have in common.

I seriously recommend thinking about why height matters to you if it does. Happy Sunday :)
