This only happens because men put these attributes out there ("I want to start a family!") And then it screws them over. Every man needs to take an inventory of what they offer a woman...money, stability, free labor, emotional labor, kids, house, college educated, status career, looks whatever.

Whether or not the incident in the bar bathroom was actual rape or regret rape, what this essay really highlights is the danger and folly of women who make 'The Girl That Got Raped' their whole identity.

Being the hard-hearted bastard that I am I'm going to say it was regret rape. Actual rape is a horrible experience and tends to lead to women avoiding sex and even doing what they can to desexualize themselves. When the 'rape' leads to cranking the old carousel to maximum speed, well, I call shenanigans. Does a man that gets brutally mugged and beaten in an alley feel compelled to hang around alleys?

Beyond that, this is just the same tired story we've heard time and again. Cupcake plays turboslut 'til her cooter is attuned to quick & dirty sex with the hottest men she can score for the night then wonders why the well-meaning and stable beta just doesn't give her the tingles. Good grief, those comments are a sad,but honest reflection on modern day marriage. Every woman on there claims some kind of past abuse, which I doubt is true. I bet many of them are hookups they regretted, or their boyfriend yelled at them once (and they deserved it). The fact that these women feel compelled to tell their husband that they have no attraction for the husband anymore is just pure selfishness. Honestly, that is "abuse" by the female definition. I have noticed this with women. Women want the attention of the moment of confessing they are no longer attracted to their husband. OR they feel compelled to tell the husband about an affair. They aren't asking for forgiveness or a solution, they just want to unload their guilt and dump all the pain on to their husband. That makes them feel better.
At least some of the women in the responses are staying in the marriage for the sake of the kids. Lastly, I want to say this. Don't they realize that the husband also doesn't feel as attracted to the woman when the wife has had multiple kids, aged, and gained weight? Yet, where are all the articles "My wife got fat, I just don't feel sexually attracted to her anymore"? I am not sure there's a single article like that, and if there was, the guy would get piled on for being a shallow jerk.. Yet, it's ok for women to complain about losing desire for their husband, and having an affair, because they always have the fallback excuse of "I was abused".. Woman, if you were that damaged by "abuse", you shouldn't have married until you healed yourself.

Those are some of the most depressing comments I have ever read. Men stuck in sexless loveless marriages because their wives never found them physically attractive. They only found them good enough to marry because of the fact they have jobs and can provide a stable household. Then these wives cheat, even multiple times while their husbands have not a single clue on what’s going on. All they can see is their wife not being as affectionate as before and they wonder what’s causing it. To make matters worse, some of them don’t see a single issue.

Growing up I fell head and shoulders to general cultural portrayal, exacerbated by the media, of woman being deeply kind, caring, emotional. Not caring as much about looks but about everything else that a man might offer. That I would just need to be confident, funny, maybe get better style and take a shower LMAO and i’d have a girlfriend. I used to want to get married, genuinely. The thought about raising children with a woman together for the rest of my life was something I wanted.

Yet over the years, reading through this subreddit and other redpilled and even blackpilled forums have completely shattered my views. It’s like coming out of decades of indoctrination that’s been pumped into you since birth. Like I get anxious and even a dreadful feeling coming onto this subreddit sometimes. Because every time it just shatters what hope I have that maybe that future has a possibility.

I have completely lost faith in the idea of marriage and it hurts.
