In case you wanted to know what happens to those feminist types from college.

I had gotten off the highway somewhere in MA. There was a car in front of me at the light at the end of the offramp. Light turned green, light turned back red. I wasn't in a hurry but it was before cell phones were really common so it struck me as odd. Light changed, changed back again.

I got out of my car and started walking towards her car. She rolled down her window a crack and said her car died, and mentioned she HAD A BOYFRIEND. I don't give a shit. She's too young and too bitchy for me. I just want to get to my friend's house and there's no way around her car without jumping a curb. I tell her to put it in neutral and I'll push her across the intersection onto the shoulder on the other side. She puts it in neutral but keeps her fucking foot on the brake (lights were still on, but dim) so I Had to tell her to take her foot off it. Somehow in this she brings up her boyfriend again.

I get her over to the shoulder on the other side and by now it's pretty obvious to me her alternator had died. The lights were way too dim. I tell her I've got a jump pack with me that will get her to the nearest gas station, just pop the hood, I'll hook it up and follow her to the nearest station. Here comes that "I have a BOYFRIEND" again. I should have left her at this point but I wasn't nearly as bitter back then as I am now, and my job as a mechanic made me really happy to be helping people.

I understand that she doesn't want a strange giant man following her home at 2am, but that's why I offered the gas station. Instead she says "My BOYFRIEND'S house is nearby, could you follow me there?". I agree, she pops the hood, I strap down my booster pack and it starts right up.

She was right about her BOYFRIEND's house being nearby, it was maybe a mile tops. He comes out to meet us in the driveway. The guy was awesome. Big smile, bro hug for rescuing his girlfriend, I let him know what was going on and how much it should cost to repair. I grab my booster pack, he gives me another handshake. She's just standing there with the "I'm cold lets go inside" bitch face on.

I should have tried to get her boyfriend's number. He seemed like a good guy that could do so much better.
