Because they’re opportunistic and IMO not great long term planners. If it works for right now, that’s great. Men are allowed this in a society built to cater to them. They get something out of it by means of companionship, nurturing, therapy, mothering if they find the right woman who is willing g to give them this without a commitment for the future. It’s no mistake men struggle to grow up and take responsibility in today’s society. So simply, it’s because they can.
