Depends on the department and the culture. But, my experience in grad school was that departments tended to be gendered, and depending on the level of 'woke' in your program I would not look at plating or even being alone with any of them.

Honestly just go out have a good time and be social, but for fucks sakes don't try to fuck any of these girls. You fuck them after graduation, and the department drama is gone.

It's a good opportunity to collect some numbers and take it from there after you've hung out. Just be laid back. Don't, under any circumstances, play the comedian. Start a conversation with the one you find least attractive. You'll have little to no confidence issue talking to her, because you won't care if she likes you or not.

If you're clicking, the other women will ask you questions about your personal life, hobbies, etc. It sounds harsh towards the first woman, but that's the game. Everybody plays it.

Edit: since you're using whatsapp you obviously have their numbers. Nonetheless it'll be a chance to connect and show them your social value.
