One of my threads about me going on a date with a 57 year old woman attracted quite a bit of attention. One person commented on the thread and also sent me a private message. They gave me their whatsapp number, which I added. I've been speaking to them for a few days.

The person claims to be a woman, age 24, from Turkey but living in India at the moment. They gave me a twitter account and instagram account, which both match (same photos). Their profile photo on whatsapp also shows the same woman.

But here's where it gets a little bit strange. The person talks like a male. They refer to themselves as a chick. They use terms like "smv" and other red pill terms, which I would not expect a woman to say. I keep asking if they are a woman and they say yes - I must have asked this 30-40 times by now.

I've asked to see this person on cam, but they keep claiming their devices aren't secure. Which makes no sense. Why can they chat to me on whatsapp, but not go on cam briefly? I need to check they are a woman, not some gay dude or transgender. They keep telling me they will get their devices secure and can go on cam "tomorrow" (they've said that twice now).

What does everyone think about this? Catfish, or could be genuine?
