So my LTR of 4 years does a little bit of volunteering for her seniors at the college and I don't like it. I think it's bootlicking with no direct benefit. I tell her this and she tells me she does it because she is social and I'm overthinking this.

How do you proceed when your LTR does something you don't like but isn't all that harmful?

Also, am I really overthinking this? I know I have tendency to control her so just want to to know if it's a bad thing.
