Going on 13 years here. Even staying home with our 3 kids over summer with both of us unemployed spending way too much time together, things are great. Never cheated on, c'mon man I'm the prize. As far as getting boring last night was the first time I ever really got into facefucking her. I'm talking glutes fully engaging locking out deadlift style fucking. Variety is just as important as dominance imo.

7 year itch is real for most people. I made it almost 7 total with my ex before cheating. My best friend started cheating in year 7. Other friends even quicker than that. I've talked to colleagues who have been married multiple times and the same thing. Also women I know who cheat never make it to 7.

Not to say it applies to everyone, but living together and spending most/all of your time with a romantic partner highlights their flaws and kills attraction in most cases

I thought the 7 year itch was related to kids. Like the kids are super dependent the first 5 or 6 years, and then all of a sudden the kids are in school and the wife gets bored.

I don’t know about a 7 year myth. Attraction is attraction— build it everyday, and you’ll be fine. Folks say, “It’s just your turn” here, and there’s truth behind that. If you are attractive enough, your turn can be until the day she dies.
