Anyone else find themselves increasingly distant from female "friends"?

Almost none of those women you call friends are friends, in the sense that they are loyal, caring, trusted people in your life. They are people who know you, and may occasionally hang out with you.

But you would be less than nothing to them the instant you start to be a social drag on them. Most people are that way, so it is not necessarily a woman thing. It is just that, in my experience, very few men are any good at being a friend, and almost no women are.

So take a hard look at all the people you call "friend" and realize they are most likely nothing of the sort.

It is easy to pine after female attention, any attention, when you are alone and jerking off to porn all the time.

Once you've built up some value and start getting laid, your perspective changes. Getting pussy clears your mind and you start to realize how little value women provide with friendship. They aren't loyal, they aren't deep, and they are value vampires.

At this point I can barely stand spending lots of time with chicks I am fucking. Much less "friends" who don't give me pussy. So much yapping.

There are a few exceptions. But your friendship as a man is wasted on women. You will see a much higher ROI if you put that time and attention into Male friendships

Na, I find it's easier because I can now see why they act in certain ways.

I keep women around that are friends because it's a networking game. Just like employment or business opportunities it's good to know people who know people. Women know other women. If you're an alpha male she'll talk about you to her friends (pre-selection).

It works wonders.

Yes, I can certainly attest to that. I definitely feel more of a distance between me and my female friends, because women only form friendships with men they see as non-threatening, i.e. Betas. Women don't make very good friends for men to begin with, though.

In college, I hung out with a mixed gender group. It was fun, but when I look back on our time together, they only ever wanted to spend time with us when it was convenient for them. They would go out to party with (and probably fuck) high value men and never invite us.

I suppose it was too embarrassing for them to be associated with Beta guys in those settings. Left me kind of bitter because I still struggled a bit socially back in those days, especially with girls. Someone who doesn’t want to be seen with you isn't a great friend.

Now that the girls are trying to lock down Betas in their mid-20s after riding the CC for years, they hardly ever hang out with us guys. I see them a few times a year at most.

TRP can be difficult on some friendships, because the person your friends thought they knew is gone.

I struggle to see how other guys have girls around only as friends (unless they're ugly)

Yeah these chicks that I speak of are great socially but not attractive physically. That's the only way it can even begin to work.

Not really. But after you decide to stop doing favors for nothing in return or for them to set it up for you to meet their friends, they stop because the free handouts aren’t there anymore.

A couple stick around but many find other orbiters to do their homework or chores or house stuff or whatever it is.

The other commentators are correct. Most of the time a guy thinks he has a female friend, he's an orbiter. Sure, have some female acquaintances around to practice socializing and make potential girlfriends jealous, but don't harbor illusions about them and don't give free counseling services at 2 AM because they're devastated Chad hasn't returned their calls.

Okay, so you're an outlier and have a genuine female friend. Maybe you grew up together or majored in the same subject in college. (Are you really sure there's no romantic undertone? You wouldn't be jealous if she got together with one of your bros?) It still makes sense to focus more on male friendships. Your friendship still has an expiration date. She's not going to want to try the new microbrewery with you when she has a husband. She's not going to shell out for a sitter for the kid to go hiking or play video games with you.

if you ask a female " friend" to do you a favor, how many times will she do it compared to all the times she refuses with a bs excuse. if the number of nos is higher than favors done then she isnt a friend. especially if the task is something minuscule.

since i swallowed the pill one thing i looked at is friendships as a whole. and i kicked out alot of parasites of my life, ironically most were females .the very few females i keep as friends now are either lifelong friends, girls i fuck, or good company.

females will not give you the friendship a guy will give you. example? see what happens when one of your female friends gets into a relationship. since shes now getting everything you were giving her for free from her bf, you will be ignored untill she needs you or they break up. females see friendship as what can they get from you while doing very little .

I'm having issues having trust in "close" friends. I'd never care about female friends. They're there to satisfy your needs or maybe get her friends to meet with you. If you're around your friends, but you display superior attitude, confident and all that(not being a dick) you can still pull. However, having a hot friend with you can attract another girl that's already a bit interested you or not interested at all.

I actually have not been able to maintain any platonic female relationships since I took the red pill. I just see them as too phony or lacking in any virtues best exemplified in men. When I was a blue pill, they often told me about their struggles with men, gossip, and other inane bullshit that made me feel like an "emotional tampon" or another one of their girlfriends. I took the red pill and started denying them that kind of beta comfort and we simply don't speak anymore which, in hindsight, was for the better. Men and women can't maintain friendships with each other like they can with those of the same gender. Think of how many times you hear about a girl that stopped talking to her guy friend after their hens clucked lies into their ears or better yet when they finally got a boyfriend and decided he was the only male attention she needs. In sum, being friends with a girl can potentially lead to the expectation that you're another temporary orbiter.

Definitely. Out of the 30 or so women I've been "friends" with in my life so far I'd really only consider one of them to be a true friend. Has picked me up from the airport multiple times, has helped me move twice, has helped me through some serious shit and on top of that wingmans for me all the time. No joke she's probably gotten me laid a solid 12-15 times over the years.

I had other girl "friends" that I considered to be my actual friends when I was still BP. But after I started reading this sub I really just realized they weren't true friends. They only hung out with me when it was convenient for them. Like the top comment says, if I ever became a social drag on them I have no doubt they'd dump my ass in a second.

I don't have female friends. I only associate myself with them under two conditions.

If we are dating/fucking

Or

If we have a common goal to get achieved. (Studying for the same class, working on the same team etc.)

I have just become a lot more selective with women I associate myself with. If they aren't bringing value to my life, I won't entertain them (as women do to men all the time)

You can't hang out or be friends with chicks. In my limited experience they seem to have this struggle of wanting to either throw you in the friend zone or look at you as a potential partner.

When I was younger I had many female friends, after a girl left me I had none, that’s when I got into trp.

At first I was more distant, but lately I’ve been finding myself seeking more female friends. Yea, I think they’re pretty stupid usually but it’s a nice change up from hanging out with bros all the time, and it gives you access to more females and other females will respect you if you have a few attractive female friends you aren’t sexually involved with.
