I decided I'm going to start cold approaching girls. That being said i'm usually pretty shy/ introverted and this is completely foreign to me. To work up to it i've just been paying compliments to one girl a day around campus. Y'all would probably call that some beta shit, but it's been working great for building confidence. One girl looked kinda bitchy and like she'd say something like "Um, okay?" If i complimented her, but when I told her I liked her scarf she got all sweet and melty with me. The second girl I complimented basically told me her life story trying to start a conversation with me. The third gave me a "uh, thanks?" which I felt like shit about for about 30 seconds till I noticed she was the lowest SMV girl out of the three and it wasn't me it was her.

My point is, i'm building confidence, developing a idgaf attitude towards girls, and I think i'm ready to progress. Did anyone else do this kind of progression thing/ have an idea of what the next stepping stone is? Part of me feels like it's just starting conversations, but I have no idea what i'd talk to a random person off the street about, there's a huge jump there. Is it time to just make the leap of faith and try picking up girls?
