I'm reading NMMNH for the first time. In Chapter 5, under "Take A Walk On The Wild Side", Glover mentions in passing being shamed for loading the dishwasher wrong. I don't have that specific problem, but I was wondering how you're supposed to handle that kind of treatment? Role play it as if it were about the dishwasher.
Also, if I screw something up or forget something or break something my wife asks "Why would you do that?" in an accusatory tone.
My response has been sarcasm like "because I wanted everything to get screwed up" or whatever. It doesn't seem to phase her in the least and I can feel I'm in a weak position when I say that, I just don't know how better to respond.
Any ideas?
