TL;DR: She has covid. Saying "I'm here if you need anything" seems to shut girls down. Not saying anything seems unpolite. So what?

so there's this former FWB (I broke frame) who eventually texts me since I've stopped chasing her (I was on the chase for a brief after fucking up).

Lately, her cat died and she had an anxiety attack. Both times I offered her support and said "I was there for her if she needed anything" to which she didn't reply. Maybe sounded like I wanted something out of this? which is beta as fuck.

now she has COVID. she texted me "hey, I got covid. you were right about me having deviated septum, the PCR test was rough". I didn't want to be invasive this time about asking if she's ok/offering help so I just said "yeah, all that snoring gave it away. I can picture the doctor shitting his pants forcing the cotton swab into your nose". Last message is hers "yeah, it wouldn't go in". (2 days ago)

that's probably enough text, but not wishing her to get well at least seems unpolite? she sent me a big happy birthday message last week. I just don't want to sound like I want something in return AGAIN.

jus so you know, yea I want her grinding that pussy on my face again, but I know chasing is not the way to go.
