TRP says that women want men who, among other traits, show leadership. How does this play out in social situations? When a decision needs to be made, or if something goes a little off, would the women around me expect me or other guys to be the ones that react?

As an example. A couple months ago I came to a crosswalk with a button to make a street light red. A pair of young women, fellow college students, showed up at about the same time. I'd recently just begun reading about TRP and was starting to apply it here and there. Instead of letting them press the button, which would have otherwise happened, I sorta took up the leadership initiative and pressed the button instead. It's a small example, admittedly, but I think it gets the point of my question across.

Or another example. I tend to feel a bit awkward around a lot of people. Standing in line for the dining hall can be a bit uncomfortable because there's a lot of people in close proximity. I noticed there were a couple ladies ahead of me. I made it a point to change my body posture from my kinda crunched up standard to something more confident. My thinking was that, being a dude, they would expect the confident pose from me. Is that sort of thinking correct?

In a group project for a class, would women tend to prefer I take a leadership/decision-making role?
