Let's hear some stories about times you made a bit of a fool of yourself trying to game a woman. I think it'd be good for everyone to know we all have these moments and that they're normal. Don't be afraid of fucking up.

Here's my recent one: On a flight, did my usual thing of falling in love with a stewardess. Thought I was maybe catching some IOIs, but also was a bit guarded about that idea because I didn't want to be another incel thinking the friendly air stewardess is into him. Next thing I know she comes down the aisle smiling at me. She stops at my seat and starts chatting to me "hey how are you?". I take this as a cue to start hitting on her, asking her questions and shit. She is polite but then cuts the conversation short to go attend to something. I'm feeling great about myself, like I'm actually gonna get this girl's number or something before the end of the flight. About 5 minutes pass before I realise. I'd been pressing buttons on the remote control for the TV screen in front of me to see what they do. I'd pressed the 'call for assistance' button without realising what it does. Then it dawned on me that before she walked off she pressed the button too to switch it off. Anyway, she totally blanked me for the rest of the flight. Massive face-palm.
