Keep feeling guilty, that's some shit no man should ever do.

How do I get over the guilt?

Bruh. You just told us you attacked a woman. You expect us to say you shouldn't be ashamed of it?
The red pill is about you becoming a solid stableman. If you're letting someone push your buttons like that to the point of violence. You're still a boy throwing temper tantrums.

This question still turns my gut. You know the bad part about not remembering the face of every poor sap I put into the ground? I feel I should. Like approach anxiety, if you do it enough, you get desensitized. Getting desensitized to guilt isn't something I would advocate.
You can't change what you did. Channel that into making sure you do what you think is right in the present.
When that shitty feeling comes, don't let it kick your brain into thought overdrive. Just pause, breathe, observe that feeling - don't resist it or try to push it down - and wait for it to pass, like diving under a wave. It gets less and less frequent and then goes away altogether.
You don't get over guilt, you persevere through it.

Also, responding to psychological violence with physical violence is not that unnatural.
The west has an unhealthy victim complex around women and a perpetrator complex around men.
The psychological damage you sustained / are now sustaining is probably worse than her physical injuries.
Bodies heal, minds are changed forever. Not saying you were right to beat the bitch up, but I understand.
All the more reason to treat women like children rather than like equals, it's better for everyone.
Unless you'd beat up a toddler too, in which case fuck you.

you didn't beat the shit out of a woman. that's not the issue, but that's just my """equality""" speaking
you beat the shit out of someone smaller. out of someone who you were supposed to be in a trusting relationship with. you beat the shit out of someone you "loved"
don't expect anything less than the full chris brown treatment, dude

The RP community is not your personal lab. You lie like this again and you're gone.

You file a police report about your domestic abuse and get counseling when offered by the state.

TRP is morally neutral. Obviously you lost frame, and your self-control. I’m sorry all you’re getting so far is a guilt trip on an advice board you came to for help.
You can try apologising to the person you hit, though don’t do it if it puts you in legal jeopardy or if re-entering their lives would cause them distress, or if you might re-enter this toxic relationship.
You can’t blame them for making you hit them, you chose to do what you did.
Some self-examination and understanding is necessary to avoid doing things like this in the future- don’t just hope.
Just be glad you didn’t got into any legal trouble, work on yourself and try to figure out where your anger comes from.
I’m guessing your parents hit you, and you don’t blame them, but blame yourself for “making them” hit you, and now you’re doing the same thing. If this is the case- you never should have been beaten as a child. Using violence against someone with no way to defend themselves is never justified. Good luck in not just never doing it again, but understanding the deeper problems which caused you to lash out.
