Dark triad isn't attractive as such imo; there's an overlap between alpha traits and dark triad traits, sure, and that is what the girls want while the rest is a turn off. I think you just rolled the dice too many times. This is why a lot of guys say social media should be kept to a minimum. Until you meet a chick she is looking for a reason to disqualify you. In essence, you were doubling down instead of cashing in your chips for a date.

As for salvaging the situation, I would have tried to turn the tables (rather than letting the air out of the tires by saying "oh, and I eat kittens! muhahahah") and said, "me? you're the one coming off like a psycho! Our first date will definitely be in a public place with lots of cameras. I'm free Friday night or Sunday afternoon, etc."
