I plan to begin 5x5's this week, and want to supplement it with a solid diet. I have used IIFYM with good results in the past, but I work more hours and have more going on. I could see myself benefiting more from an Intermittent Fasting schedule.

My concern is that if I am cramming my intake in an 8 hour window, there is no way my body will be able to take in the amount of protein I could see it needing to build muscle and get stronger. Though the protein intake debate seems heated, there still seems to be a more unanimous agreement that your body can only handle within 40-50 grams of protein every 4 hours. If I weigh 192 lb's, I'll probably need more than just 80g of protein.

Anyone with more experience with IF dieting have any input, am I misinformed in anyway?
