I'm just wondering why there's any logical reason why women wouldn't date a younger man. Obviously I know that, generally speaking, a man who is 40 is going to have more resources than a man aged 25.

But that only explains the beta bucks part of the equation. A man who is 25 can quite easily be better looking, be in better shape and have better game than one who is 40. Assuming there is a 40 year old woman who has decided she definitely doesn't want kids, why should this woman turn down fit young men in their mid 20's for a man in his 40's? Logically this doesn't make sense.

I have even seen young women reject guys PURELY ON AGE ALONE. She might be 22 years old, the guy might be 20 and extremely sexy, but once she finds out his age, she immediately rejects him. Simply for the fickle reason that "he's younger than me". Instead, she will seek out guys who are the same age or older than her. Doesn't make sense.

Me personally, older women can be really nice if they haven't let themselves go + either don't want kids, or their kids have left home. It seems silly to discriminate on age for sexual partners.

Why do women think like this?

PS: maybe they also begin discriminating when you're too old, as well as too young? Any thoughts appreciated.
