Yes and no.

In order for TRP to work, it “needs” to be amoral, apolitical, etc.

There are many different characteristics from different political beliefs, religious beliefs, and other societal traditions that coincide with TRP.

For example, you could argue that from the traditional American Right-Leaning values that becoming a high value person, working hard on yourself, etc. aligns with TRP. But when it comes to casual sex, maybe not. But from a Left leaning standpoint, it does.

Religion is a means of social control.

The "red pill" is inherently about not being blind to the world around you, if you chose to blind yourself with religion you haven't take any red pill.
