Today I realized an interesting turnaround regarding sex and children.
In my earliest sex ed classes I was taught the following:
You shouldn't have sex until you are ready to have children.
A hundred years ago, this was particularly true for women: since women didn't make money themselves, being a single mom was not an option. Single women were not protected by law against (unwanted) pregnancy, though single men were (i.e. they had no legal duties towards the mother/child). Hence, women had to wait with sex until marriage, which back then actually meant something and served to protect the family as a whole.
Nowadays it's the other way around, and the said lesson applies particularly to men. Getting pregnant is no longer a problem for single women: not only can they make money themselves to support the child, they can also receive child support from the biological father. And if they don't want any of that, they can always opt for an abortion. The law basically shifted the problem of a single woman getting pregnant towards a single man impregnating a woman.
But whereas marriage protected the family as a whole, divorce has now become an option, which undermines the whole concept of marriage: there's no value in a contract that states two people will live together forever, when the said contract can be terminated at any time. You wouldn't buy an insurance contract if the insurance company could choose to break the contract anytime they wanted, would you?
The only reason to get married would be the financial benefits (e.g. for women who's partner is in the army). For many people, those advantages don't outweigh the disadvantages, and marriage is no longer worth it.
I agree that "You shouldn't have sex until you are ready to have children." is a bit extreme, as the risk of pregnancy can be made very low by both parties. However, many men (especially in a relationship) trust their SO to take care of the contraception, without realizing the possible consequenses.
More men should realize that:

This reminds me of my community week for medical school. What that entails is we go out to different communities in the state and practice medicine under a preceptor's guidance for a week. We practice taking full medical histories.
Medical histories, if you guys weren't aware of, often gets into the nitty gritty of people's personal lives. Naturally, the stuff I ran into in my clnic was not shocking considering the location, on the border between upscale rich side of town and the hood.
One woman: 4 different babies 4 different fathers and 4 divorces; raking in over 10k a month in child support. She even has a white collar upper management job with a cushy bonus. I am not sure how she pulled this off, but she showed me a family picture where all four fathers were there with each child in their arms. I can understand the first 2 guys didn't know better, but you'd think the third and fourth guy would learn by now. I don't know the full story how it happened, but my preceptor told me it was better I didn't know the details. She knows this because she goes to church with this woman
I couldn't make this up.
Another story this reminds me off is another woman, single divorced mother of 2. Her ex husband is 3k behind in child support. Guess what he did, he went even more beta and married a single mother with 6 kids of her own, and he had twins with that woman. The court is naturally hounding the guy. I don't know the details, but this is what I learned from my preceptor, since she also goes to church with this woman.
If these examples and what redpillschool posted don't convince anybody, I don't know what will.

Yes, I realize this is a crosspost, it's men's rights. If I could configure the bot to allow certain subreddits I would. Suggestions welcome.
