I decided to search the main sub to find a post relating to cars and the role they play in the sexual marketplace. The post I found spoke of a girl who approached OP in a very DTF manner "You have a really nice car. I live near here. Can you give me a ride?"

The highest rated comment was from the a non-endorsed user who said: right, but be aware that a car makes you attractive in the beta bucks category, not the alpha fucks category. a car makes you LTR material, not fuck material.

if you want pussy, it will be easier to get so without having any money at all, hence the "broke musician/loser" stereotype who has no problem getting pussy. why is that? because the only quality you then have is your fuck, and a girl will treat you for that.

adding wealth will only make you more attractive for the LTR category, a girl will want to drag the sex out as much as possible as it increases her bargaining position for your commitment towards her, while she would have had nothing to gain from a broke motherfucker by dragging sex out.

And I would say the majority/vocal slight-minority followed this line of thought:

Next you can buy her a drink, then pay for her meal, then pay for her movie. Maybe, just maybe all that $$$ can buy you sex :/

In other words, a show of wealth that attracts a female will lead to a BB role, as opposed to an AF role.

On the contrary, some TRP endorsed users says that the nice car can put you in an AF position:

Not entirely. Displays of wealth are simultaneous displays of status. It's why wearing a suit works. They mentally associate you with a high-status man if you roll around in a nice car.

Having a nice car can very easily facilitate scoring with women. I know a younger lawyer that does exactly that. He doesn't spend hardly anything on them.

Having wealth and using it to your advantage doesn't mean buying her expensive steak dinners, there's definitely an element of nuance as to how one wields his wealth.

another endorsed user's response:

If you look decent (IE. not a huge fat ass) and are in a suit and have a decent car you're already in the top 20% of all men.

Remember the recent study that suggested that women scored 80% of men as below average. Those three things put you in the top 20% which means you have a serious chance of scoring.

Even a mod agreed, and so do I in this case. Especially since it helps you get into the top 20% which, correct me if i'm wrong; is synonymous with the AF role.

And then this other endorsed user takes the opposite approach:

There is a caveat about the vehicle you drive. If its very expensive and new, you will attract BB interest. If its loud, obnoxious, obviously fast or purpose built for fun/excitement, it evokes a very different attraction. You don't have to have lots of money to have a car like that, but you sure as hell can't be a milquetoast supplicating beta that is more likely to drive an Accord or a minivan.

He then goes on to post a link to a dilapidated looking souped up muscle car which I personally wouldn't take out into the public.

So what's the conclusion here? Does "adding wealth only make you more attractive for the LTR category" or does it put you in higher standings for AF?

If you agree with the latter, then which cars qualify for this league? A minimum of BMW 5 series/Merc E-S Class? Do you get diminishing returns on anything beyond a GTR Nismo or is the effect even more present if you had a lambo instead.

I personally am into cars so they attract women in an AF kind of way, it's just a plus.
