I haven't had any depression for a good while now and i'm very grateful for that. But in the last week or so i've started having weird moments of total emptiness and feeling very anxious. My go to is to think about why i am feeling this way and try and see if there is any realistic justifiable reason, and then i tend to forget about it. But then an hour or two later it'll just happen again. It's part anxiety, part just "what the hell am i doing, this is all pointless/meaningless".
I'm working on staying mindful and actively using the techniques gained from practising mindfulness to tackle this depression when it appears. It's just a strange appearance after so long of nothing/feeling pretty good.
I was wondering if anyone else has similar experiences like this and if they have any tips or advice to quell this feeling effectively when it arises.
I don't do drugs, eat well and exercise very regularly ftr. Thanks for any responses.
