hey people.
I've just turned 25.
Last year was a bit of a roller-coaster for me, as I was diagnosed with Bi-polar disorder, got put on different meds, seeing several therapy/psychiatrists etc. Had to move back in with my mom while all this was going on, as I simply couldn't work, and therefore didn't have an income.
However, now i'm on the right medication, and im doing great. I'm "allowed" to work again, and I've recently been employed, so I got that going as well.
I have this dream that I'd like to move to the UK next year. So this entire year for me, is about preparation and improvement I guess. The reason I'm waiting another year, is because I've been entitled to a year of therapy sessions, which I think will really benefit me (regarding my mental state).
I have a question regarding how to make the most out of this "year of improvement":
Should I stay with my mom another year, or get my own place? - I can save up way more money at my moms, than if I went and got my own place, but I think that nothing beats the freedom of having your own place!
If anyone has made a move abroad before, please put your input, and how you prepared for the move.
Thanks in advance!
