It's been the law in my country for at least a hundred years or so that women have the right to vote.

However, why would this be a good thing, from a man's point of view? When it happened, every man in the country effectively had his voting power slashed in half for no benefit to him.

Since then, there hasn't been anything to "make up for" losing such a large amount of influence, and indeed, men have only lost more and more with the introduction of things like female politicians.

So, AskTRP, without reference to equal rights (because that's the argument in favour), why should I, as a man, be grateful to the Suffragettes?
