Selfish in bed

So... I was talking with an old FWB and she told me I was too selfish in bed. Like it was a bad thing.

Not the first time a girl told me this. They usually say I'm distant and just do what I feel like.

This is very true tbh, but I always felt like this was a good thing, girls seem to like the way I just do what I feel with no shame or anything.

My question is: Is being selfish in bed a good thing? Is there a point where you should really look to "please" your partner?

I have my personal answer, I think it is a good thing, if a girl wants something she can ask or push me to do it...
