This is a classic shit test. The underlying question behind this statement is "Can I trust you to not tell everyone in town that we fucked?" My go-to response is "A lady doesn't kiss and tell." It's playful and it lets her know that I value discretion.

Your response acknowledges that there is something wrong with it, because you're defending it. It suggests that you're insecure about it and feel as though she has a point. She comes away with the impression that you're ashamed of it. Worse, she has the idea that you'd negatively appraise her for being slutty, meaning she'll have stronger ASD. Also, polygamy isn't a shield you want to hide behind.
