I'm not a sports guy but I would like to have knowledge of what's going on so I don't have to step out of the conversation whenever it turns to sports. It comes up a lot at work. It's a universal subject too that is great for talking with strangers. I can't tell you how many times someone has tried striking up a conversation with me about sports at the airport bar or wherever. I have no passion for it but it is something I would like to invest some time in to improve my social game without spending my entire weekends watching and I'd prefer not to watch endless YouTube highlight clips. I want to be able to carry on a casual conversation about it. I'm not looking to pretend to be a fanatic. What's a good resource for this? I have found The Big Lead. Curious what you guys use? Any recommendations for a book to read or some way to set a foundation?
