I take it as, don’t put them on a pedestal. Talk to them matter of fact, like you would a guy. I don’t ask any of my friends how they are or how their day was because I honestly don’t care, and they know I don’t (excluding major events) and if it is worth talking they just will. We don’t usually ask “how was your day, how are you feeling, etc” we just say what needs to be said if it merits. Just treat them normally, as you would anyone you are talking to and not someone you are hoping to date or sleep with.

I think he is saying to just not put them on a pedestal while talking to them. She is no more important to you than a random dude in the gym or something.

His last sentence is a bit vague but my guess would be that he literally does mean talk about them. Not like, “oh you look good today” it’s more like, “I swear your always wearing those goofy ass shoes, I kinda dig it”

I had an attractive female friend shit test me last week.

Yes, because most guys are conditioned to treat woman as some exotic species, drooling head over heels for them, always putting the spotlight on them. Instead, you should be your own single point of mental origin.

Talk about THEM in this context means talking about them not putting them on the pedestal, i.e. will I get sex if I said this. It doesn't really matter what you said, it's how you said it that matters.

This is a good no-brainer if you're just starting out, but soon you should develop your own set of rules on how you should treat your woman.
