If he's not open to hearing, then he's not open to hearing. Fact is, wives cheat because they have lost their respect and value for their husbands. That happens in many cases because the husbands stop respecting themselves, demanding respect from others, and enacting consequences for when others disrespect them (ie - nexting people that disrespect them). In other words, the husbands become weak in their wive's eyes, not worthy of being respected.

He's only continuing to do what he's likely already always done - being a weak man. He thinks he's being loving and good to his kids. What he's really doing is setting a bad example (tolerating things that should not be tolerated as well as sometimes you have to let people hurt you when you love them). The reality that it's actually reverse, that you never have to let people hurt you when you love them, that if they really loved you they wouldn't hurt you.

He'll continue doing what he's doing until he can't tolerate the pain anymore. Then, he'll crash and burn first, and his crash and burn will also hurt his kids. Then, he'll have to pick up the pieces somehow. At that point, he might become openminded to the thought that he should be valuing and respecting himself first, and setting a better example of self-value and self-respect first. Might. But some guys NEVER get it.

Your best bet - stay out of it unless he invites your input, and at the same time I would be honest and not show any kind of approval towards his wife. I'd avoid her. I wouldn't send her bday or xmas presents. I'd not talk to her at family events. I'd recommend that you not fake it, and if asked about, I'd be honest and say what she did is so far out of bounds of you values that while you're uncle is family, she isn't and you want nothing to do with her, and that you're navigating that as best you can balance it out. No need to hide your feelings about it.
