What are some easy and TASTY recipes of eggs?

17 yo here. I have started working out as a few people advised me. I was also advised to eat 4 eggs per day.

All I know how to cook is the boiled eggs, half fried eggs and the scrambled eggs but as I don't know how to cut/chop anything else, so these mostly don't have anything on top of them other than salt.

I am actually starting to get bored of eating them. It's only Day 3. How do I make these eggs more tasty? Or is there a tasty yet easy version/recipe of cooking eggs?

I also have a lot of interest in cooking and I definitely want to develop it as a side hobby, as my main preference for a career is the Armed Forces.

Also, please don't suggest "mixing them up with something tasty" because well it's lockdown here. I can't be too choosy about what I get to eat. This is an Asian country, my parents control every other aspect of my diet and they don't give a fuck about carbs, fats or proteins. For them, these don't exist.

Vegetable frittata or omelette or scramble.

Just chop a bunch of vegetables, stir fry in the pan until softened. Pour your eggs on top and let it cook for the Omelette version. Or scramble the eggs together with the veggies and you're done. Easy.

Asian country. I'm Asian too just from north america. Often I just add chopped green onion and cilantro to beaten eggs and pan fry. Add a little soy sauce for taste or fish sauce. If u want to get fancy you can add oysters to the egg batter before cooking.

Egg salad. Boil eggs. Chop up. Mix with mustard, chopped green onion, mayonnaise and paprika. Salt and pepper. I like a little relish or chopped pickle in mine too. Serve on lettuce wraps or bread of your choice.

Shrimp and egg stir fry classic Chinese dish. U want to egg runny and moist not too hard.
Add some oil to the beaten eggs. Salt. In the pan, start stir frying the shrimp until they are also cooked. Season with white pepper and salt. Add your eggs and scramble. Shouldn't take long. Eggs should coat the shrimp and be soft but not too runny. Add your chopped green onions. Good to go.

Egg salad

Freaking love egg salad. If you wanna save on some calories you can cook your eggs to soft boiled and cut out some or all of the mayo.

Google eggs in hell.

You don’t have to eat 4 eggs a day. Just track your macros and calories

How?

Google it

Use myfitnesspal for a while until you know how to eyeball it.

You do t have to be one hundred percent accurate though and eating the same shit is the easiest way for me.

What should be the macros and calories for a 17 yo? My BMI is around 18.3, height is 5'7" and weight is about 52 kilograms.

Tracking cals is stupid inaccurate. Eat the same shit on a weekly. Mass? Add a bit more food. Weight loss? Subtract some. Just get a g per lean bodyweight of protein and don't go overboard with fats. Nutrition labels aren't 100 percent truth.

Eggs are cheap and fast and a great source of protein, fats, and vitamins.

Eat 8 eggs a day, hard boiled. I'm a simple man.

[–]WorkUnderProgress0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Isn't 8 eggs a little too much? And I get bored of boiled eggs after I eat 2 of them.

[–]DatRiggz0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Depends on the circumstance I guess, I work a real physical job. If you dislike eggs so much no one said you have to eat them

[–]ENTPunisher0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Poach them. You can make eggs benedict if you want.

Actual chef here. A common saying is that a chef had (those tall paper ones) has 100 folds because there's 100 ways to cook an egg and you can't truly consider yourself a chef until you've mastered each one.

That being said. Learn how to make scrambled eggs (one of my specialties and I can give you some detailed instructions). Learn to make a frittata and/or a quiche. Learn to make a French omelette. Learn to make fried eggs how you like (sunny side up or over easy/med/hard). Just look up YouTube videos and try. Trial and error is going to go a long way.

Beginner tips. Get a nonstick pan, the heavier the better. Get a decent rubber spatula. And use a whisk not a damn fork. You'll hear a lot of suggestions to not over mix the eggs if youre scrambling them. You won't unless you're some kind of psychopath. Slightly over whipped eggs will yield a better product than slightly under whipped.

"as I don't know how to cut/chop anything else"

Take knife, press down on vegetable. Repeat as necessary.

Scrambled with American cheese baby

[–]WorkUnderProgress1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Idk if we even have cheese at home. We do have tomato ketchup, pizza sauce and mayonnaise.

Get a job, you're 17

Velveeta?

I like shredded cheddar in mine.

Motherfucking French Toast.

Nutritionally dense, macro balanced and a fantastic breakfast on both a cut and a bulk. Protein and slow release, low GI carbs give energy for hours.

4 whole eggs (200ml egg white if on cut) 2 slices of thick wholemeal bread 4 tsp of sugar (sweetener if on a cut)

Throw eggs and sugar into bowl, stir. Soak bread in egg. Fry til golden brown.

Made with eeg whites, approx 350 cal. Made with whole eggs, approx 500 cal.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
