What are some lesser known books (not necessarily having to pertain to sex strategy) that haven't and probably won't become widespread or well-known in the current Geist?

An unfortunate reality about book recommendations is that good books that happen to be obscure may never blip on one's radar. What are some books like that that you'd recommend and why?

*please include a short description of each title

Just look up the Western Canon by Harold Bloom. Won't go wrong choosing books off that.

How to read a book by Mortimer

Readers, listeners, experiences. If you mainly learn by reading and want to strengthen your reading this book will help you greatly.

The books breaks down reading into four stages

I) Foundational reading, what are definition of words

II) Inspectional reading, what is the book about

III) Analytical reading, what arguments is the author trying to make

IV) Syntopical reading, how can you combine terms and arguments across different books

If you're a science person, have look at A mind for numbers by Sarah? Should only be one

And for positive mindset Mindset by Carol Dweck

3 relatively obscure novels I found thought provoking.

The Long Walk - Rawicz

Demons - Dostoevsky

America - Beaudrillard

What are they about?

Start with The Long Walk; tis the most universal IMO

It’s an autobiography about a Polish Sergeant sent to the Gulag that escaped with a handful of other prisoners. Their journey crosses Siberia, the Gobi desert, and even the Himalayas.. If true (which I believe it is), easily the most epic venture I’ve ever read.
