Ahh Tom torero used to have a YouTube video that I linked to about a year ago but it's been removed.

I use it often so I remember it.

ATTENTION: if she's walking, stop her in her tracks. Look her in the eyes, let her know with body language you are engaging her

"Hi."

"I noticed you over there" (point. She'll look. She's following your lead now) "and I wanted to say you have a pretty smile" (compliment something. Be honest but avoid anything sexual).

If she thanks you, move to step 2.

Introduction: "my name is [name], nice to meet you"

If she shares her name, go to step 3

NOTE: as you get better, at some point in the interaction she will ask you questions. always respond to her questions and use common sense and conversation skills before proceeding to the next step. You may also feel comfortable jumping right to the end if you feel you've made a good connection and not have to do the steps in between. Feel it out.

Accusation: here, you want to pique her interest and show her you're not boring like other dudes that try pickup. The next logical thing is to ask where she's from, but that's boring. Instead, guess where she's from. You'll probably be wrong but it will surprise her and get her to invest.

"Your name sounds / you look russian. Are you from Russia?"

If she tells you where she's from, proceed to step 4

Imagination: here, you want to paint a picture, make her laugh, and give her a taste of what your world is like. Let's say you were way off and she says she's french.

"Oh wow, you're from France... I can see that... I can see you (here we go).. riding a bicycle built for 2... With a little dog in the basket on the front! Yes, that's you"

If she laughs, proceed to step 5.

She's invested, you earned the right to ask for the next step. If you're daygaming use false time constraint and get a phone number. "I'm actually in a hurry, but I just had to talk to you. I'd love to get coffee sometime, what's your phone number?" If you're at a bar/club isolate her for some one on one vibing: "it's kind of loud here and I'd love to talk to you for a minute, come with me"

This is a basic framework anyone can follow to start approaching. I've used it and it works.

Literally it’s just a conversation though, like the one you had with yourself before you posted thus geeky post to get some technique you can use to blame others when it inevitably fails and you return here. Get out of the house. And talk to everyone you meet. Test for interest. And walk through open doors. It’s so easy, your ancestors did it.
