There are very very few ways you can “win” in these situations.

Take it as a learning opportunity, the girl is obviously unstable to do something like this. IF what you did or said doesn’t truly deserve assault.

If you’ve already let it get this far, you already lost. Similar to bar fights, to get yourself in a situation like this, you’ve already been instigating to a degree (even if you’re in “the right”). Learn to read a room/your audience before babbling your retard opinions and learn that you don’t always have to one up/be right in every discussion. There are two female SOs in my friend group. They are fun to party with and they’re my friends’ wife/fiancé so they’re not going anywhere but they both have massive triggers that make them unbearable, wicked cunts. I used to not back down much cuz i felt like Im not going to a pussy in my own friend group and won’t let them get away with anything but over time i learned that this was causing me way more trouble than it was worth. Even though the group would agree with me 99% of the time in a dispute, they would never publicly back me because they didn’t want to get involved. Beta move, but at the end of the day since I’ve just stopped engaging them when they spew nonsense or talk shit, the waters have calmed and they have calmed too. Drop the ego sometimes, it’ll save you some grey hairs and apparently some drinks to the face.
