I'm gonna be real here.

I'm 32 years old, and I value my sleep more than gold. I used to be able to stay up until 2-3am every night and still have the energy to get up in the morning and flunk all my classes.

As an adult, I've got shit to do, and so I generally try to be in bed by 9pm (10pm at the latest). I've got a pretty sweet schedule, so I'm usually up around 5am, at work by 6:30am, and off work at 3pm.

The problem? Well, for one I'm always tired as hell in the afternoon and fighting off a nap.

But I generally try to cram "life" into the weekend.

Only it's not really "the weekend", because Sunday is always dedicated to "getting ready for the next week". Cleaning, laundry, groceries, and then just trying to relax because the onslaught of the next work-week.

So that really just leaves Friday-night and Saturday for "normal life".

And that feels pretty shitty.

At the same time, though, any time I do hang out with people through the week or on Sunday, I pretty much always regret it. I never sleep well, and usually feel wiped-out for the next couple of days.

Obviously right now, I suspect we're all overdue for some human interaction. But as things slowly transition "back to normal", I guess I'm just trying to figure out what the best "normal" would look like?

Are you guys going out and meeting people, or planning dates during the week? Or do you also reserve that for Fridays and Saturdays? If you socialize through the week, how do you keep your energy up?

Honestly, any feedback is welcome here. I feel like time is just flying by, and I could use any advice I can get for really making the most of it.
