What sort of flags would you want to check before choosing to work for a female boss?

Post menopause

Lots of experience in the industry

Appears to treat both sexes equally

Doesn't have a lot of connections with female office members outside of work

Bad

Young

Encourages a 'happy' office environment

Social with lots of females at work

Less experience in the industry and or a leadership position

Uses femininity with her superiors

Flirts with you or other males

Most female bosses are terrible.

But my current boss is absolutely wonderful. She is very attractive too. She is good because she doesn't flirt with any men, keeps everything 100% professional, is not emotional, and very calm.

I work for a woman in a technical field. She's great. It's early in my career. She's been nothing but helpful

It should be fairly straightforward to detect: what would be good is a woman with no reason to fuck up your life, usually this will mean older than you, with an already well established carreer and professional reputation, a calm demeanor, definitely not flirty or angry/agressive.

There are good female bosses out there, mine is one such example: happily married, fawns over her two little boys (who are high-school aged now), incredibly respected in the industry and very calm/modest demeanor.
