It's been said on this sub that acting beta can be useful. What are some examples of this?

Personally, I had a job interview the other day where I decided to act more beta (less assertive tonality, slightly more rapport-seeking tonality). I suspected in previous interviews, having a strong frame and acting more aloof/alpha might have worked against me by making me less superficially likeable to potential coworkers. I think acting more beta the other day helped (interviewers acted more friendly with me), because it made me seem non-threatening, and maybe fit in more with the other coworkers in the office (most people act beta). But I'm still very early in my journey of figuring this stuff out.

Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences.
